We believe that in order to become the best you need to be taught by the best, which is why our creative team and teaching faculty at Face Academy is made up of practitioners with a wealth of industry experience and professional training in Hong Kong and internationally.
Director, Face Productions
Donner holds a BA degree, majoring in Dance and minoring in Art. Trained in the UK, she has dance qualifications and training in ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, modern and Scottish dance. While in England she toured and danced for a theatre company Walk the Dog, which combined dance with physical theatre. In Hong Kong, she has choreographed fashion shows at Fashion Walk Mall in Causeway Bay and in hotels around Hong Kong for luxurious brands including Armani, Max Mara, Polo and Wella Hair.
Artistic Director /Acting and Vocal Coach
Candice graduated from Stage World Theatre School, South Africa, with a certificate in Performing Arts specialising in Musical Theatre. She was awarded a medal for outstanding achievement from Trinity College, London in Musical Theatre and actively participated in various musicals on the Port Elizabeth stage. She has taught Drama to performers across Asia.
Andrew trained in musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and with the National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain. His London West End roles include Christopher Wren in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. With Hong Kong Repertory Theatre his credits include The Empress of China at City Hall, The Soongs: By Dreams Betrayed and 1894 Hong Kong Plague.
Claire is an experienced dance teacher having taught dance courses at various academies in the UK for more than six years. She holds the ISTD DDI teaching qualifications in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, and Tap Dance, and has also undertaken LAMDA Drama and Trinity Singing examinations. A keen dancer herself, Claire has extensive performance experience including in UK theatre and TV appearances.
Technical Music Composer
Eric has a degree in Broadcast Communication and is an accomplished singer,songwriter, composer, and musical arranger across several musical genres, including classic, pop, and jazz. He has taught music at several schools, and worked as musical director for many organisations and productions. He plays the piano, guitar, bass, and drums to professional standard and is a qualified record and audio engineer.
Kenix holds a BA in Fine Arts, majoring in Theatre Technical Production from Ryerson University, Canada, and an MA in Fine Arts in Arts and Events Management from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She has stage managed many performances across drama, musicals, dance shows, competitions, and events. She has also worked as a teacher, a lighting, set, and costume designer, and production and stage manager.
Assistant Production Manager
Georgina graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a BFA in Theatre and Entertainment Arts. She explores her passion for the arts through a variety of musicals, plays, dance showcases, and events. She is experienced in both design and management and previously worked with Theatre Noir, Hong Kong Dance Company, Actor’s Family, and various educational institutions. This is her fifth show working with Face Productions.
Assistant Production Manager
Kary holds a BA in Communication Studies and she has been engaged in various local events, musicals, and productions. This is her second year with Face Productions, previously as Deputy Stage Manger for My Fair Lady. She has also been involved in Legally Blonde, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
