Titanic is a multi Tony Award-winning musical based on the famous sailing, and sinking, of The Ship of Dreams.
This production uses a large cast to tell the tale and portrays the interlacing stories of many people aboard. It encompasses a wide cross-section of human lives including boiler room workers, first-class attendants and a range of passengers from the poorest, who scraped together their life savings to purchase third-class tickets to America, to some of the wealthiest men and women of the Edwardian age including John Jacob Astor and Benjamin Guggenheim.
Maury Yeston and Peter Stone have created a musical which tells the tragic story through a compassionate book, intelligent lyrics and soaring melodies. Full of memorable characters grounded in their historical counterparts, Titanic is a powerful and complex exploration of the making of a tragedy.
Performers aged 6 – 18 years are required to enrol for Face Academy™.
